2025年9月末に台湾を襲った台風18号は、猛烈な豪雨と暴風を伴い、特に東部の花蓮県や台東県などの山間部を中心に、甚大な被害を引き起こしました。24時間の降水量が500ミリを超える地域もあり、地盤の緩みによる大規模な土砂崩れや地滑りが相次ぎました。

さらに、花蓮県では山間部に自然に形成されていた堰き止め湖が決壊し、数千万トン規模の水が一気に下流へ流れ込み、住宅地を襲いました。

　　この災害により、家屋の倒壊や浸水、自動車の流出、道路・橋梁の崩壊といった広範囲にわたる被害が発生し、多くの方々が命を落とし、また行方不明となっている方もおられます（2025年10月8日時点、14人が死亡、124名が行方不明、避難者5000人超）。数多くの住民が住まいを失い、避難生活を余儀なくされているほか、電力・通信・交通インフラの断絶によって、日常生活に深刻な影響が及んでいます。

今回の台風18号は、風雨による直接的な被害にとどまらず、地形的特性や地域の脆弱性が被害を拡大させた、極めて深刻な複合災害となりました。

　　咲花商事株式会社は、この度の災害で被災されたすべての方々に心よりお見舞いを申し上げるとともに、1日も早い復旧・復興をお祈りいたします。当社では、企業の社会的責任（CSR）の一環として、また被災地の復興を少しでも支援したいという思いから、2025年10月6日付で東京都認定NPO法人AAR Japan［難民を助ける会］を通じて、台風18号による台湾被害支援のために30,000円の寄付を実施いたしました。　（本寄付金は、AAR Japanが台湾現地で行う緊急支援活動や生活支援、災害対応に活用される予定です。）

　　なお、当社代表である呉 仲翔（ウー・ジョンシャン）は台湾出身であり、幼少期から台風による災害と隣り合わせの環境で育った経験から、今回の台風18号がもたらした甚大な人的・物的被害の深刻さや、生活基盤を一瞬で奪われる厳しさを深く理解しております。被災した地元地域の様子や困難に直面している人々の姿を目にし、胸を締めつけられる思いと、何か力になりたいという強い衝動に駆られております。直接現地に赴いて支援を行うことは叶いませんが、「遠く離れていても、故郷を思い、支えたい」という気持ちは常に心の中にあり、今回の寄付は個人としての思いでもあり、企業としての社会的責任を果たす行動でもあります。

　　咲花商事は今後も、国境や文化を越えて支え合う「国際連帯」の精神を大切にし、困難な状況にある人々に寄り添いながら、責任ある行動を継続してまいります。被災地の安全と一日も早い復旧、そして被災された皆さまが平穏な日常を取り戻されることを、社員一同、心よりお祈り申し上げます。

CSR Activity Report: Message of Sympathy and Support for the Victims of Typhoon No. 18 in Taiwan

　　In late September 2025, Typhoon No.18 struck Taiwan with intense rainfall and powerful winds, causing extensive damage, especially in the mountainous regions of Hualien and Taitung counties in the eastern part of the island. Some areas recorded more than 500 mm of rainfall within 24 hours, leading to severe landslides and slope failures due to loosened soil. Furthermore, in Hualien County, a naturally formed landslide dam in the mountains collapsed, releasing tens of millions of tons of water downstream and devastating nearby residential areas.

　　As a result of this disaster, widespread damage occurred, including the collapse and flooding of homes, the washing away of vehicles, and the destruction of roads and bridges. Many lives were lost, and numerous people remain missing. As of October 8, 2025, the disaster had resulted in 14 confirmed deaths, 124 people missing, and over 5,000 evacuees. In addition to the human toll, many residents have lost their homes and are now living in evacuation shelters. The disruption of essential infrastructure such as electricity, telecommunications, and transportation has had a serious impact on daily life. This typhoon was not only a natural disaster caused by strong winds and rain but also a complex catastrophe whose effects were exacerbated by the region's geographical and structural vulnerabilities.

　　Blossom Trading Co., Ltd. extends its deepest sympathies to all those affected by this disaster, and we sincerely pray for the swift recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas. As part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts and our desire to contribute to the recovery of the disaster-stricken areas, we donated 30,000 yen on October 6, 2025, through AAR Japan [Association for Aid and Relief, Japan], a Tokyo Metropolitan Government-certified non-profit organization, to support relief efforts for those affected by Typhoon No. 18 in Taiwan. (This donation will be used by AAR Japan to support emergency response, daily life assistance, and other disaster relief activities in the affected areas of Taiwan.)

　　Our company’s representative, Mr. ChungHsiang Wu, is originally from Taiwan. Having grown up in an environment constantly threatened by typhoons, he has a deep and personal understanding of the severe physical and emotional toll such disasters can inflict — including the sudden loss of livelihoods and infrastructure. Upon witnessing the damage in his hometown and the hardship faced by the people there, he was filled with grief and a strong desire to help.Although he is unable to provide direct support on-site, he has always carried in his heart the conviction that “even from afar, we can support and stand with our homeland.” This donation reflects not only his personal sentiments but also our company’s commitment to fulfilling our responsibility as a socially conscious organization.

　　Blossom Trading Co., Ltd. will continue to uphold the spirit of international solidarity by supporting those in need beyond borders and cultural differences, and by engaging in responsible corporate actions. We sincerely hope for the safety of all affected areas and for the swift restoration of peaceful daily lives for those impacted by the disaster.

企業社會責任報告：對臺灣颱風18號災區的慰問與支援

　　2025年9月底，颱風18號襲擊臺灣，帶來強烈豪雨及強風，尤其對東部花蓮縣與臺東縣等山區造成嚴重災害。部分地區24小時降雨量超過500毫米，引發土壤鬆動，導致大規模土石流及地滑。此外，花蓮縣山區一座自然形成的堰塞湖潰壩，數千萬噸的洪水瞬間沖下山谷，淹沒下游住宅區。此次災害造成房屋倒塌及淹水、汽車沖走、道路及橋樑毀壞等廣泛損害。多人喪生，仍有許多人失蹤。（截至2025年10月8日，官方統計死亡人數為14人，失蹤124人，疏散人數超過5000人。）除了人命傷亡外，許多居民失去家園，被迫搬遷避難，電力、通訊及交通基礎設施中斷，對日常生活造成嚴重影響。此次颱風不僅造成風雨直接損害，更因地形及區域脆弱性加劇災情，是一場複合型嚴重災難。

　　咲花商事株式會社對所有受災民眾致上最深切的慰問，並誠摯祈願災區早日恢復重建。作為企業社會責任（CSR）的一環，並希望盡一份心力支持災區復原，我們於2025年10月6日透過東京都認證的非營利組織 AAR Japan［援助與救援協會日本分會］，捐贈新台幣約30,000日圓（等值金額）用於支援臺灣颱風18號災後重建工作。（此筆捐款將用於AAR Japan於臺灣現地執行的緊急救援、生活支援及災害應對工作。）

　　本公司代表吳仲翔先生為臺灣出身，自幼在颱風頻繁侵襲的環境成長，對此次災害所造成的重大人員及財產損失深感痛心，並深刻體會到失去生活依靠的痛苦與無奈。目睹家鄉遭受重創及民眾面臨的困境，令他倍感心痛，並激發出強烈的援助意願。雖無法親赴現場提供支援，但他始終懷抱「即使遠隔千里，也願守護並支持故鄉」的信念。此次捐款不僅表達個人情感，更是本公司履行企業社會責任的實際行動。
